Traditional Series Jacqueline TB2-34 34-Inch Long-Scale Bass in Wine and Roses with Fralin Custom Big Single T-Bird Pickup Set (Passive) and V/V/T (Passive) Electronics

The Jacqueline TB2-34 features a knotty, textured eastern white pine with a beautiful dyed finish. Pine offers a lighter weight with a punchy midrange that really cuts through the mix when compared to a more traditional wood, like Alder.

The pickups are Fralin Big Single T-bird set that we have custom made for us. These pickups have a fat single coil tone in a hum-cancelling package. They are based on Fralin's hum-cancelling P-90 design, just without the screw slugs, giving it a smoother attack. They have definitely become our new favorite pickup set.

The 21 fret cherry neck with a wenge fretboard features carbon fiber stiffening rods. The nut width is a Jazz bass sized 1.5", and the finish is a satin oil/poly blend. The neck gets sanded to 600 grit, while we bullet nose the fret ends and polish them to a smooth 12,000 grit. All of which makes it a real joy to play.

A set of DR Dragon Skin coated round wound strings runs between a Leo Quan Badass Bass II bridge over a Tone Ninja nut to a set of Leo Quan Badass OGT Mini tuners.
