I received my Roxanne on Thursday.  I left her boxed for 24 hours and put her to work Saturday night and again on Sunday night. I love my guitar.  We are going to become very good friends. I'm totally over the moon with this Shelby! The setup was perfect, and it has to be the most comfortable bass I've ever played. I love the neck profile. I don't know if it's your standard offering (the neck on my Jackie-O feels just a hair slimmer), but all those hours I spent playing and none of the usual feeling of fatigue afterward. The Shelby is just a real joy to play and the tones it produces are fantastic. Thundering yet clear bottom end, and a P voice with its own unique character that scratches most of my tonal itches. And the espresso finish with the dark roasted neck is absolutely exquisite. I really dig the vibe and aesthetic choices you've made with your work.
