EMG Active Pickups and Electronics
The neck pickup is a 40PCS (ceramic and steel magnets), which has a slightly scooped midrange, and the bridge pickup is a 40PA (AlNiCo magnets), which has a slight midrange boost, making them balance beautifully together. Both pickups are reverse split-coils in a 4" soapbar shell.

The electronics feature a volume, volume, and a BTS 2-band preamp, all powered by two 9v batteries.
