This bass is a little beast! The guys in the band love it. In fact, a couple of the wives even said we sound better and could not believe the difference. Paired with my Mesa Subway D800+ head and Subway 1×15 cabinet it is an amazing little and lightweight set up. Packs a punch and cuts through nice, full and tight, with plenty of bottom end and clarity. Actually had several people from the crowd(s) we played for come up and talk to me about the guitar and my rig. They were curious what I was playing because of the size and the tone. People were digging it! Thanks Again!!

Awesome Shelby bass! Blue with a white racing stripe. I had to have it since it matched my tank on my motorcycle! Lol. It is my first short scale. Perfect for sitting and learning or standing and jamming long sets since it’s lighter than any of my other basses. Micah answered all my questions thoroughly before making the purchase. Micah – I have to tell you that I love this bass already. My all time favorite bass to date was my American Standard Jazz bass, but I’m 44 and have worked as a pro chef my whole life and my joints / tendons are shot. Hence the short scale. I currently own a Sandberg Lionel – which is also great – but your bass gets me right back to the same feel and sound of the Jazz bass, without the longer scale. Super thumpy with flats. This bass is absolutely KILLER!!. Plays effortlessly, perfectly balanced, Tuners are fantastic. Everything about this bass is stellar. I normally play a real 1958 P-bass or 1962 P-bass and this thing is certainly in the ballpark as those timeless instruments. STOKED!!!!!!!!!
